Hosting and server log data
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the site is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data on our behalf (IP address, date and time, file requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS; the data is processed on servers in Germany.
Cookies and storage in your browser
This website itself does not set any cookies. Only two things are stored in your browser: your decision on audience measurement (localStorage, key vrm-consent, value ‘granted’ or ‘denied’) – without it we could not respect your decision at all – and, in the client portal after signing in, a session marker (sessionStorage) that contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us and expires when the browser is closed.
Fonts, images, videos and the web app are loaded from our own web space. The site does not embed content from third-party servers – with the single exception described in the next section, which only applies with your consent.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
With your consent we collect anonymous usage statistics with Google Analytics 4 to understand which content is helpful and where visitors get stuck. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Without your consent, none of this happens. The measurement script is then not loaded, and no request is sent to a Google server. Only once you agree is the script loaded; it then sets cookies (including _ga), which are used to distinguish returning visits. In the process, personal data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google bases this transfer on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future – the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected. When you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies set by Google Analytics and no longer load the measurement script. Details of data processing by Google can be found in its privacy policy.
Contacting us
The enquiry form does not send anything to our server: it opens your email program with a prepared message to hi@fansea.io. If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the enquiry and for follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, PO Box 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.
As of
September 2026. We will update this policy as soon as the website or the legal situation changes.
